Hope: Thank you for choosing iNLP Center for your training! You’ve completed many iNLP Center trainings and continue to attend live sessions and support our community. Please tell our readers which courses you have taken at the iNLP Center.

Jeff: I did the bundle of Life Coach, Master Coach, and Mental Health Coach. All three were great, mainly due to the terrific trainers at the INLP Center.

Hope: What’s your coaching niche?

Jeff: I have three ideal clients that I focus on: Sellers, Executives, and Coaches. I am writing a book for coaches on how to grow a profitable coaching practice. I have found that there are a lot of people out there making unrealistic promises regarding strategies for new client acquisition, and I want to offer a no-nonsense approach to getting clients and making money as a coach. I really want to see coaches succeed.

Hope: How is your success now, and how close is your niche to your initial coaching vision?

Jeff: I am doing well with my coaching business. I am nearing 700 hours of coaching over the last 12 months, most of that paid. I found it pretty easy to get started by reaching out to my former clients who already knew me and trusted me. It has been a little more difficult landing business from people I do not already know, but I am developing marketing and social media strategies that seem to be working. My niche is salespeople and executives, but I have added the niche of life coaches since I began because I really want to see the coaches succeed

Hope: What’s a tip you can give to current students?

Jeff: Build a simple business plan. Include a pro forma with expected revenue and expenses, products and pricing, how many of each product you must sell to hit your goal, and a list of the activities you need to engage in to hit your conversation targets. It won’t be easy or fun but do the behavior anyway. If you do, you will eventually you will be able to grow your business via referral.

Hope: Where can students find you online?
